All children in Reception, Years 1 & 2 have access to free school meals via the Government's Universal Infant Free School Meals initiative. Infant free school meals forms part of the Government's School Food Plan.
From the beginning of Juniors (Year 3), parents must pay if they want their child to continue receiving a school meal. School meals cost £2.34 per day (increasing to £2.60 from 3rd June 2024) and children order their meal during registration each morning. Please remember to pay in advance by topping up via ParentMail at anytime.
If you believe your child may be entitled to free school meals, please complete this form and return it to the School Office. We can verify your eligibility and let you know the outcome of your application.
If you would prefer your child to enjoy a healthy packed lunch, prepared at home, we are very supportive of this choice too. Please see our healthy packed lunch guide attached below and please always remember we are a no nuts school.
