If you have a specific enquiry, you might like to contact one of the following people.  You will find members of the Headship Team very actively out and about at the beginning and end of each day.  Please feel free to speak to us about what's on your mind.

Miss Diane Haslett - dhaslett@stjosephsguildford.com

Nursery Manager

Miss Haslett is our Nursery Manager.  She oversees the admissions process and will happily answer any questions you have about the daily running and routines of the Nursery.  Miss Haslett is also the Nursery's SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and will be able to offer support and guidance on many themes related to children's learning and development.

Mrs Jennie Trimmer - jtrimmer@stjosephsguildford.com

Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion

Mrs Trimmer coordinates the school's extensive work on inclusion.  This involves understanding and responding to children's special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).  She is also our champion for disadvantaged pupils, helping to maximise the impact of our Pupil Premium funding.  Mrs Trimmer also holds the role of Medical Needs Officer.

Mrs Rosie Evans - revans@stjosephsguildford.com

Assistant Headteacher for Infants

Mrs Evans has oversight of our entire Infant provision.  She manages transitions from local nurseries into our Reception each September, as well as focusing on children's academic progress and pastoral needs all the way through the Infant phases, to the end of Year 2.

Mrs Jess Birtles - jbirtles@stjosephsguildford.com

Assistant Headteacher for Juniors

Mrs Birtles has oversight of our entire Junior provision.  She welcomes children from the beginning of Year 3 and sees them all the way through to their transition to secondary school (at the end of Year 6).  Mrs Birtles monitors the progress and development of our Junior children, as well as taking a keen interest in their pastoral needs.

Mrs Annabelle Spacagna - deputy@stjosephsguildford.com

Deputy Headteacher

Mrs Spacagna has oversight of the whole school - from curriculum to staffing, behaviour to clubs - there isn't much that Mrs Spacagna doesn't know about.  She manages the daily running of the school and is heavily involved in the strategic choices behind why we do what we do.

Mr Tom Collins - head@stjosephsguildford.com

Headteacher

Mr Collins is our Headteacher.  He is ultimately accountable for the performance of the school, ensuring it fulfills its statutory duties and promotes its rich Catholic identity.
